Hello and welcome to a little bit of my world....My name is Nancy Ellen and I grew up back east, a few years upstate NY and a few years in MA and moved to California to prove my independence; that was back in 1962. I was very homesick and wanted to go home..but I was determined to show everyone that I could make a living here, stay a year and move back to MA. Well, by the time the year was up, my new friends here and all...I could not leave. I loved it then and I love it now. I spent my time in and around the motion picture and film business as secretary to directors, producers, comedians; casting assistant on such shows as "General Hospital", "Get Smart", "Mary Tyler Moore", "Phyllis" comedians and wound up as a production coordinator; which I called 'mother to the crew'...whatever the cast and crew needed, it was my job to get it for them, housing, cars, equipment...if their check was wrong, I found out why and got it straightened out, I made the travel arrangements for the cast, crew, director and all who needed to be on location and I got to go with them. The hours were long...especially on location...a day there could start as early as 3 a.m. and end at midnight!!! But I loved it. Any problem which would/could arise...well, I had to find a solution for it and usually twas not a problem. I have put some pictures on the pages and I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed working on the various projects with the celebrities and most especially the crews of the various productions.
